CBS's "Big Brother" won't air its next episode until Sunday night, but the action continues in the house. For details on who won this week's Head of Household competition and also who the initial eviction nominees are, please scroll down in this article.
Last week's Head of Household and Power of Veto winner Frank chose to initially nominate Wil and Joe, and kept those nominations the same. Wil was sent home Thursday night during the live eviction show, and also told about the "Silent Six" alliance in the house by Julie Chen. That means no matter what twist might happen on the show, Wil won't be returning to the house.
When the show went off the air, the Head of Household competition was still ongoing. The HouseGuests had to take a small spoon and transfer a liquid across a slip-and-slide. There were three jugs on the other end, one for HoH, one for a cash prize, and one for safety in the house for the week.
Shane easily won the Head of Household competition. Britney won the smaller competition for safety, and Boogie went straight for the cash prize bucket, and won ten thousand dollars.
I speculated Thursday that Boogie might have known his days were numbered, and just been trying to pick up cash while he could. There may have been something to that line of thinking, because Shane has targeted two of his "Silent Six" alliance-mates this week, and put Frank and Boogie up for eviction.
