It seems that fans of Clare Crawley don't have to be too disappointed about not seeing her as the star of "The Bachelorette." The bubbly blonde, who lost to Nikki Ferrell when it came to Juan Pablo Galavis, is getting another chance at love. According to a Reality Steve article posted on Tuesday, May 27, Clare has signed up to be in the spin-off "Bachelor in Paradise."
According to the spoiler website, Clare won't be the only woman from Juan Pablo's season to be on the show. Joining her will be Lucy Aragon, Danielle Ronco, and Amy Long. Also signed up are Michelle Money (Brad Womack's season), AshLee Frazier (Sean Lowe's season), and Sarah Herron (also from Sean's season). Several other women may possibly be in the show as well, including Tierra LiCausi, who famously acted like a diva and had a meltdown on Sean's season.
As for the men, there are three guys from Desiree Hartsock's season, Ben Scott, Zack Kalter, and Robert Graham, two from Emily Maynard's season, Kalon McMahon and Chris Bukowski, one from DeAnna Pappas' season, Graham Bunn, and four from the current "The Bachelorette" season starring Andi Dorfman, Marquel Martin, Dylan Petitt, Cody Sattler, and Marcus Grodd. Obviously, these four men don't get to the end with Andi.
Reality Steve also revealed that the cast will start filming this Sunday, June 1, in Tulum, Mexico and that a house has been rented for all 20 contestants to live there while filming goes on for three weeks. "Bachelor in Paradise" replaces "Bachelor Pad" as the franchise's summer spin-off show.
ABC announced the spin-off in late March. It didn't provide a lot of details on the show and how it will differ from its previous spin-off, other than it being set in a "isolated romantic paradise." It was revealed that like "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," "Bachelor in Paradise" will have a weekly rose ceremony, although it's unclear whether a participant will go home each week. Hopefully, Clare Crawley and the rest of the contestants are ready for lots of bathing suits and tears!
