For Cressida Bonas, the recent flame of playboy Prince Harry, the party is over. For Harry, it is just beginning again. After reports that the on-again and off-again couple split up at a rugby match last week, Prince Harry was seen partying as Cressida disappeared. The Washington Post reported on May 2, 2014, “Prince Harry’s ex, Cressida Bonas, gets ‘compassionate leave’ from job to deal with breakup.” Some reports alluded to the fact that Kate Middleton took a similar leave when she and Prince William broke up prior to their reconciliation and marriage.

On May 1, 2014, the New York Daily News reported, "Prince Harry chats up mystery brunette inside nightclub.” The young prince has been in the United States partying as he prepares for the wedding of his close friend, Guy Pelly.

The first major split with Cressida took place over Harry’s naked romp in Las Vegas. As reported here in February, men have a difficult time telling a woman, “It’s over,” and Prince Harry is no exception. Men either disappear, or they do something outrageous as did Harry in Las Vegas. At the time Cressida left him. But since then the couple has been seen together, though she was not at the christening of Prince George. Nonetheless, despite Prince Philip's apparent disapproval, it has been reported that she had been given the keys to Harry's kingdom.

Basically, if the couple reconciles, this will be a marriage of pedigree and money if the two tie the knot, which seems unlikely. The palace frowns on her mamma’s antics, that is, the four-times-married and divorced mother of Cressida, Lady Mary Gaye Curzon, who once posed for a coffee-table photographic book in the nude. In answer to the often asked question “Will Cressida and the Prince tie the knot?” it doesn’t look so right now. But anything can change in the world of royal whims.
