South Florida is gearing up for one of the largest ocean extravaganzas to hit the East Coast. Coming next month, February 23 and 24, 2013, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, will be 'Ocean Adventure Expo' also known as "The Diving Event of the Year in Florida."

Captivating water enthusiasts will be Dr. Eugenie Clark known as Scientist/Author/Shark Lady. Stan Waterman, five-time Emmy-winning cinematographer and producer, will share some of his fascinating stories. Be entertained by shark wrangler, swamp explorer and sculptor, Manny Puig.
Freediving professionals, spearfishing experts and a fitness guru will all give you some educational tips that will be useful as you continue to pursue your underwater ocean hobby. Hear first-hand accounts from LTJG Leslie Brown, a MH-65C Dolphin Helicopter Pilot at USCG Air Station Miami who has performed water rescues, medevacs and law enforcement interdictions throughout South Florida and the Bahamas.
