A holiday horse extravaganza is coming to the Kentucky Horse Park (KHP) on November 29 and 30. Spirit of the Horse is an original entertainment production performed on horseback. It depicts a holiday-themed story that is magical. It features horses and tells of orphans and villains, with the horses reining, performing dressage and liberty work. It is at once inspiring and joyfully entertaining for young and older audiences.
Horse afficienados will recognize one horse star in particular. A remarkable performer bringing talent and presence to Spirit of the Horse is the world-class, three-time U.S. Dressage Federation Horse of the Year and Grand Prix-level dressage superstar GP Raymeister.
There are the well-known riders Kim and Yvonne Barteau of KYB Dressage, entertainers at the Arabian Nights Dinner Theater in Orlando, Florida, who have both been on the Today show. Also in the cast is Dan James, Double Dan Horsemanship, an Australian world-renowned entertainer and equine performer.
Tickets are available for the show at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, November 29 and 30, and include the Barn Tour from 3:30 to 6:30 both days and also the Post Production Party immediately after each performance in the Alltech Arena. Guest can avail themselves of the Meet and Greet with the stars at the holiday Barn Tour as well and enjoy food and drink, and mingle with four-legged and human stars
Tickets can be purchased online.
