Although everyone was able to enter the room, Larocque felt forced to stop and said he could not go further. Furlong explained that a guard once stood there to check people before they entered and to ensure the children were well behaved.
That afternoon, Dennison led classes on Psychic Awareness. She also taught others how to work with chakras and the medium's tools of the trade. After another dinner, everyone moved downstairs to the museum section of the building for a ghost hunting session in the old jail.
Dennison gave the 30 people in attendance an opportunity to pick up on any energies present and then write down what they felt. These initial impressions would later be matched with the building's historical documents. A séance circle was also held during which some of the women suffered energy attacks by unseen forces, with one of them actually being physically pushed against a door.
Afterward, three groups were formed and each took turns investigating different areas of the jail. During one session with Laroque, the group expressed what they felt and most sensed a little boy, who was asking about his mother. In another room, Bishop used a spirit box and digital recorder to see what could be picked up. While conducting an EVP (electronic voice phenomenon) session, a growl was captured, as well as the voice of a spirit. One of the participants actually named the spirit and said, "Hi Eli."

The Ontario Gay Paranormal Society, previously called DA Guys Paranormal, has investigated more than a dozen haunted locations since its inception in 2010. Aside from investigations, the team also hosts the Historical Kitchener Ghost Walk, Haunted Bus Tours, Psychic Spiritual Workshop Classes and an Internet talk radio show. The next ghost walk is scheduled for June 14 and the next Haunted Bus Tour will take place on July 12, when participants will be taken to the Eldon House and Brennan's Beer & Bistro in London. Rev. Jennifer White and Sir. Larocque lead the psychic workshops, which begin again in September.
