Cookies are a traditional homemade gift for the holidays. They can be very labor intensive and unimaginative. Truffles are both delicious and divine. Add a bit of Irish Whiskey to the mix and you have the and inspired creation. Because this candy confection is so decadent you do not need to give a bushel full. Two treats in an elegant 2 piece box tied with a pretty bow and the receiver will be overjoyed.
In large saucepan, melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk. Remove from heat and stir in The Knot. Transfer the mixture into a medium bowl add Coffee and Chocolate Spice or Orange Vanilla Sugar or Maple Sugar. Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours or until firm. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls; roll in cocoa powder. Refrigerate in a tightly covered dish.
