Spicy specials heat up February at Jake Melnick's Corner Tap Chicago

You don't have to schlep all the way home to get to a cozy corner tap this winter that offers warmth on the table and in the ambience. Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap, located at 41 E. Superior, is heating things up with monthly specials and The Broken Hearts Club this February.

Jake’s Burger of the Month, the Buffalo-Buffalo Burger, is a wood grilled bison patty topped with buffalo sauce, blue cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion sandwiched between a soft pretzel roll. The burger of the month is priced at $14.95, or $15.95 when accompanied by a draft beer to quench your thirst.

Take a trip to the Big Easy with Chef Ryan’s featured wing of the month, Creole Wings. Jake’s jumbo wings are marinated in Creole seasonings and served with a spicy tomato remoulade.
Keep the spice comin’ with some Cajun Mac n’ Cheese. Jake’s creamy mac n’ cheese is tossed with blackened Cajun chicken, spicy Andouille sausage and the South's holy trinity of peppers onions and celery. Jake’s featured beer of the month, Two Brothers Brewing Company’s Heavy Handed is $6.50 a pint.

Jake’s also invites guests to Heal a Broken Heart in support of the American Heart Association during National Heart Month. Extinguish a past flame with the purchase of a heart ($1) to be posted on Jake’s Broken Hearts Wall. Throughout the month of February, leave a message for your ex (keeping it PG-13 of course) and Jake’s will help ease the pain with a $1.00 off your check.
