About The Claddagh Irish Pubs

With 15 locations throughout the Midwestern U.S., the Claddagh Irish Pubs bring the best of Ireland to American guests, serving modern twists on the finest traditional cuisine paired with perfect pints of beer in an authentic and friendly setting. The Claddagh pubs represent a community in which friends and neighbors come together to enjoy food and drink and socialize, which is in the tradition of the pubs or "public houses" in Ireland that serve as town gathering places. With an Irish-born manager at every location, the hallmark of the restaurants' public house environment is the "craic" (pronounced "crack")-meaning a fun, friendly, and exuberant atmosphere. U.S. corporate headquarters are in Solon, OH, and the pubs are located in Ohio (Polaris Park and downtown Columbus, Lyndhurst, Mason, Toledo), Indiana (northside and downtown Indianapolis, Plainfield), Michigan (Lansing, Livonia), Illinois (Geneva), Kentucky (Newport), Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh), Minnesota (Maple Grove), and Wisconsin (Middleton). The Claddagh Irish Pubs franchise was started 12 years ago by Irish founder and owner Pat McDonagh, who also created Supermac's, Ireland's largest and fastest-growing indigenous food chain, and introduced Papa John's and Quizno's Subs throughout Ireland.
