Since the project stopped being supported many have been clamoring for Microsoft to return to the realm of game shows on Xbox Live just like it did with its highly experimental 1 Vs. 100. Today, a Twitter user asked , Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Game Studios, Phil Spencer whether we'll ever see the something similar return to the companies portfolio and the answer might surprise you.

"I think we will," Spencer tweets, "[Entertainment and digital media president of Microsoft] Nancy Tellem and I were discussing gameshows on [Xbox Live]. 1v100 was a success for us."

However, fans of that specific game show shouldn't get their hopes up. "[Probably] not 1v100 exactly," Spencer states. As to what we could possibly see from the studio remains a mystery.

With the launch of the Xbox One, the amount of potential that Microsoft can utilize has skyrocketed, allowing them to promote snapped apps alongside whatever game show that it does launch.

What do you think would be a good fit on Microsoft's Xbox One? Let us know in the comments below or come discuss the topic with us on Facebook or Twitter, we'd love to hear your feedback!
