Here at Ten Pins, the USBC Specials bowl on Saturday mornings. The specials go to Special Olympics and the past couple of years, they have won Gold Medals and we are very proud of them.
During each year, they do fundraising, trying to raise money, so they can go on trips and bowl. They enjoy this bowling so much. Andree Ryan the chairperson for Specials group is one awesome lady. She works with the specials on Saturday mornings and also puts together their Special Olympics trips as well.
This coming Saturday, April 13th, A Poker Run, starting at Quaker Steak & Lube on 49th Street in Pinellas Park, will make 6 stops ending back at Quaker Steak & Lube. Registration starts at 9:30 am – 11 am, start your engines at 11 am and last rider in at 5 pm. One hand $10 & three hands is $25.
Best hand wins $200, Second best $100 and worst hand $50. There will be 50/50 drawings, auctions, and entertainment.

Also on May 19 at Ten Pins located at 1453 Pasadena Ave, the Knights of Columbus (Fr. Lopez Council #5737, Grand Knight Dan Moslek and the Special Olympics of Pinellas County are having a fundraiser from noon to 4:30 pm. Everyone is welcome, individuals, organizations & businesses.
Become a Gold Sponsor for $125 buys a lane & your business card in Ad Book. Silver Sponsor for $25 will be duly recognized in Ad Book. Bowler registration starts at 11:30. If you are signing up as a Gold or Silver sponsor you need to get information to Andree Ryan, 5361 62nd Ave. N., Pinellas Park, FL 33781 by April 12th as they need to prepare the AD BOOK.
A lunch for all who partake, beverages are not included. There will be music for your entertainment, Chinese auction; tickets will be $1 each or 6 for $5 and a 1st place champion trophy, you will be bowling 3 games of 8 pin no tap & complimentary shoes rental.
