  • Have someone to talk to even though your dog may not always understand every word. Your attentive companion will react to every word because of its unconditional love and loyalty.
  • Some use the dog as an excuse for leaving affairs early. “I have to go home and let my dog out; feed my dog.”
  • You can always blame the dog when you pass gas; the dog did it!
  • A dog is a great companion to share your good and bad days with. They seem to know the difference when you are happy or sad.
  • Dogs give you a good reason to get up in the morning; someone after all is relying on you for its needs.
  • You always come home to a happy face and wagging tail, despite whether you have been gone for hours or minutes.

No doubt about it; dogs are a big responsibility and pet owners must be willing to take on the good and the bad, the pros and cons. Most would tell you that their dogs are a treasured member of the family that they cannot imagine living without. Commit to be a responsible pet owner and cherish all the special moments your dog can provide just by being who he or she is; a loving pet that things you are its whole world!
