NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network, will air a live broadcast entitled NJTV Special Report: The Political Storm on Tuesday, January 21 at 7 pm. Anchored by NJTV News Managing Editor Mike Schneider from NJTV’s Montclair studio, this half-hour special will assess the recent controversies surrounding Governor Chris Christie’s administration, from the George Washington Bridge lane closure in Fort Lee to the accusations made by Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer about the withholding of Hurricane Sandy recovery funds.
The special will include clips from recent local and national news interviews with key political players, including those of NJTV News with Mike Schneider, the Governor’s press conferences and NJTV’s Superstorm Sandy: A Live Town Hall, which was recently brought into the mix during Zimmer’s initial MSNBC interview. Michael Aron, NJTV’s chief political correspondent; Kate Zernicke, New York Times national correspondent; Patrick Murray, Director of the Monmouth University Polling Institute and other guests will share their insight into some of the speculation surrounding the Governor’s office.
