Spiro Productions, in partnership with The Other Mirror, is proud to present a special one-night presentation of Les Misérables at Avondale Theatre on June 21st at 7:30 p.m. After a sold out run at Meadow Brook Theatre last summer, this evening will feature the original cast with direction by Katherine M. Carter and Music Direction by Mark Dupere.
Based on Victor Hugo's classic novel, LES MISÉRABLES is an epic and uplifting story about the survival of the human spirit. The magnificent score of LES MISÉRABLES includes the classic songs "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," "Stars," "Bring Him Home," "Do You Hear the People Sing?," "One Day More," "Empty Chairs at Empty Tables," "Master Of The House" and many more.
Katherine M. Carter, Artistic Director of The Other Mirror (in New York City) and ’11-’12 Playwrights Horizons Directing Resident, will direct the production. Mark Dupere, currently completing his Doctorate at Michigan State University, is music director.
