It was a very hot weekend (Jun 15) at the Ahead With Horses Photo Fun Day charity event in Shadow Hills, California, where more than 30 superstar children put on an equestrian show for parents, friends, spectators and celebrity personalities lending their support. Southern California's #1 center for developmental therapeutic vaulting put on quite a show for everyone in attendance. Riding high on the trained horses, special needs children dazzled the audiences with their daredevil tricks. From tiny tots to teens, the happiest kids on earth knelt, stood and posed, while on the saddles of the most beautiful horses imaginable, with hands in the air too!

The parents and friends cheered and snapped photos of the kids along with press photographers and even some paparazzi. On hand to greet the star children when they left the equestrian ring, was TV star and celebrity love coach Dr. Ava Cadell, author of the new Barnes and Noble and Amazon bestselling book NeuroLoveology and Vh1 personality BD Freeman. A board member and huge supporter of the 501C3 charity Ahead With Horses, Inc., Dr. Cadell handed out beautiful medals of honor with red, white, and blue ribbons attached. The children were so proud of themselves for their remarkable bravery and showmanship, they beamed brighter than the scorching summer sun.

The event, held at a private horse ranch, included many opportunities to give back and donate to the Ahead With Horses charity, which is in need of support to continue its mission. There was a massage booth, a DJ, children's carnival games, silent auction, arts and crafts, and a delicious BBQ for all. The sweet highlight was a sugary cookie and chocolate cupcake booth run by Dr. Ava Cadell and Los Angeles charity fundraising expert Karen Murphy along with teen volunteers Taylor and McKenna. The warm chocolate chip cookies donated by Richard Chesterfield of Monrose Catering and the horse-shaped sugar cookies by Bonnie Knecht were gobbled up quick!
