Special Needs Chicago

Wheaton Patch did a shout out on Easter Sunday to Special Needs Chicago, a local business that arranges non-emergency transportation services to the elderly and to individuals that have physical and/or cognitive challenges. Mary Ann Lopez filed the report.

Michelle Dacy owns this worthwhile organization that is located in Wheaton, Illinois. Dacy founded her company last year although she has been coordinating transportation for more than 10 years for the individuals that require a bit of extra assistance. She originally devised the plan because, she, too, has a child with special needs. The company behooved her situation and gave her a means to support her family.

With the number of children being diagnosed with disabilities, services like Special Needs Chicago will be in greater need of transportation for those that require wheelchairs or other accoutrements. Dacy just happens to be perfect for her job because she has personally experienced what other parents and caregivers go through when there is no service for their loved ones. When an individual is meant to do a specific job, they know to count their blessings.
