Special K Red Berries cereal recalled due to possible glass fragments

If your breakfast plans include a bowl of Special K Red Berries, you might want to check the box. The Kellogg Company is recalling three sizes of the Red Berries because they may contain glass fragments. Affected sizes include the 11.2 oz., the 34 oz., and the 22.4 oz. twin pack.

The cereal giant reportedly initiated the recall voluntarily.

Safety officials are asking consumers to check any packages that you have in your home. Click here to see a detailed list of the affected products, including UPC codes.

If you have a recalled product, do not eat the cereal and contact Kellogg’s at 1-800-962-1413 for a replacement coupon.

The company says it may also make arrangements to retrieve the recalled products for further evaluation.
