"John Lennon: Gimme Some Truth – A 70th Birthday Celebration," a radio special featuring a new interview with Yoko Ono and the premiere of songs from the newly remastered John Lennon catalog including tracks from the new "Double Fantasy: Stripped Down" album, will air around the country between Oct. 1 and Oct.17.
The interview with Ono, conducted by Jody Denberg recently in New York City, covers the new Lennon reissues, her thoughts on some Lennon classics including “Imagine” and “Whatever Gets You Through The Night” and the couple’s relationship and musical partnership.
Songs to be heard in newly remastered form in the show will include "Gimme Some Truth," "Power To The People," "(Just Like) Starting Over (Stripped Down)," "Woman (Stripped Down)," "Mother," and "Give Peace A Chance."
