Special Holiday Hours on MLK Day at Cleveland Metroparks Chalet Toboggan Chutes

Celebrate a winter day off on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day - Monday, January 21 - at Northeast Ohio's ultimate winter thrill ride - the Chalet Toboggan Chutes in Mill Stream Run Reservation in Strongsville.

From noon to 5 p.m. on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, visitors can enjoy the day off with their family and friends at the Chalet Toboggan Chutes.

Tobogganing at the Chalet can also be enjoyed through mid-March, weather permitting, on the regular days of operation:

Thursdays: 6 to 10 p.m.
Fridays: 6 to 10:30 p.m.
Saturdays: noon to 10:30 p.m.
Sundays: noon to 5 p.m.

The daily admission fee for tobogganing is ONLY $10 for adults and $8 for children, 11 & under. One-time ride tickets are available for $4. Group discounts during public hours are available, too.

And, the Chalet's new toboggan lift lets riders skip the hard work and go straight to heart-racing fun while tobogganing down the twin, refrigerated ice chutes with an initial drop of 70-feet traveling over 45 mph and over 700 feet of ice. The new toboggan lift carries the toboggan to the top, so it's ready to go for its rider.
All riders must wear gloves or mittens. Children must be at least 42 inches tall to ride and be accompanied by an adult.
