Philadelphia Craft Beer is coming to Atlantic City for a special five course experience! This Friday, February 28 at 7:00 pm, The Continental Atlantic City is hosting a special five-course craft beer dinner with craft beer from Philadelphia based brewer, Yards Brewing Co.

Menu: Passed hors d’oeuvres paired with Yards ESA (Extra Special Ale) – Yards’ first and most revered brew, this English style ale has a subtle spiciness and strong malt backbone.
Shrimp & Biscuits, rosemary-ranch biscuit with brawler gravy paired with Yards Brawler – a ruby-colored approachable, malt forward, delicately hopped session ale
Louisiana Gumbo, jumbo lump crab, Andouille sausage, smoked ham paired with Yards Rye IPA – a new, American IPA released January 2014 brewed with rye malt for a subtle spice, whole flower Chinook and more than six other hops for intense citrus and pine notes.
Coriander Duck, sweet potato puree, collard greens, creole mustard sauce paired with Yards Poor Richard’s Tavern Spruce Ale – a spice ale based on Benjamin Franklin’s original recipe brewed with locally sourced blue spruce, barley and molasses.
Flourless Chocolate Cake and frozen strawberry yogurt paired with Chocolate Love Stout – a special firkin of Yards’ stout brewed with more than 200 lbs. of 100% cacao Belgian dark chocolate. This special firkin is infused with vanilla beans.
Diners will have an opportunity to meet Yards owner and Brewmaster Tom Kehoe, who will be on site to answer questions and discuss the brewing process throughout the evening.
Tom Kehoe started Yards Brewing Co. in 1994 and has grown the brewery from a cask conditioned keg-only production of 15 barrels per week to a full packaging brewery with a capacity of more than 40,000 barrels. Kehoe and Yards Brewing Co. have been named as Philadelphia’s Best Local Beer by Philadelphia Magazine in 1998, nominated for a StarChefs.com Rising Star Award, and received a bronze medal in the World Beer Cup in 2010.
