I really wish Apple would put this much effort into the releasing of Beatles products!!!!!
Mitch, other then release Let it be, shea, the toons etc. how much more effort could they have put into the Beatles remasters last year?
The only reason this looks like more effort is because the Apple artists aren't going to sell nowhere near as much as the Beatles, so they throw in these incentives like bonus tracks, downloads, t shirt etc. They know the Beatle remasters were going to sell just for the fact that they were remastered, and they didn't need to add any bonus tracks, (probably so they can milk it in the future ala the anthologies or brand new compilations) So they left the albums well enough alone and for the most part imo, gave us a great product that, despite some of the minor audiophile complaints, was more or less a product to be proud of. I guess the point of my long and winding post here is that, Apple doesn't put that much effort into Beatle product because they don't have to. I'm not saying I agree with their methods, but they know it will be a lot easier to sell a bunch of Beatle box sets then Apple boxes.
Anyway love the podcast Mitch ;D and thanks steve for continuing to provide the best Beatle news online.
Thanks for the compliment, Joe. Much appreciated. :)
LOL at that copyright statement. Did nobody tell you that you can't copyright facts, Steve? You seem to take yourself far too seriously these days.
You're correct, but some of the wording is mine and is subject to copyright.
So, is the T-shirt/Cd combo for sale or just promo items?
It's for sale.
Got something to say?
