Speak up for Hawaii's dogs

Did you know Hawaii has no laws or regulations for large-scale commercial dog breeders?

And no laws to protect consumers who unknowingly purchase a sick or even dying puppy?

An important bill, Senate Bill 414, is being considered this week and needs your support.

The bill would simply set forth basic standards of care for those who breed and sell large numbers of puppies to the public, and who may otherwise put profit over welfare.

Please make a brief, polite phone call to your state senator Laura H. Thielen (808) 587-8388 , urging support for Senate Bill 414. Please be the voice for the animals and let's end puppy mills in Hawaii.
