In Wall Township, N.J. on Thursday afternoon, some cruel monster stuffed a severely neglected, older cocker spaniel into a garbage bag, sealed the bag, and abandoned the suffering dog along the side of a street on Belmar Ave.
News 12.com reports Keith Morgan and his wife saw the trash bag on the side of the road, and when Morgan opened the bag, his heart just broke; there was a poor dog just looking up at him. The dog was so matted and covered in filth, Morgan said he just wanted to cry.
The dog was taken to the Associated Humane Society in Tinton Falls where he was shaved; his legs were so matted he couldn't even walk.
A $500. reward has been offered for information leading to the identity of the dog's owner.
Authorities named the dog Morgan after the husband and wife who saved him. Morgan is currently at an animal hospital, and his condition is serious.
