This weekend will be the first Spay/Neuter Clinic of the year sponsored by the Kern County Animal Control folks and the 5th District Supervisor Leticia Perez. The clinic is by appointment only, and well worth it - for $10 - that's right, just TEN DOLLARS, your cat or dog will get their spay or neuter surgery, Rabies and DHPP vaccinations and a free microchip. This is an amazing opportunity to help reduce the problem of pet overpopulation, make sure your pet is healthy, happy, and less likely to roam; AND get your pet microchipped so that you can recover your pet should they be lost or stolen. Keep an eye open, if you miss this clinic, there are others which will be held throughout Kern County. For more information about the clinic, call (661) 868-7141.
