A Spartanburg County pastor has been arrested and accused of sexually abusing a teen, Fox Carolina reported February 24.

According to Lt. Kevin Bobo with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office, an investigation showed Roebuck resident, Ronald Norris, 27, inappropriately touched and kissed a teen. Norris also made her take her clothes off on numerous occasions since the girl was 16-years-old.

The abuse was discovered after the Special Victim Unit was notified by a school official at Woodruff High School that a girl had been sexually assaulted.

Investigators obtained a warrant after interviewing the teen, her mother and another witness on February 24. Norris was charged with third degree criminal sexual conduct and was arrested.

Bond was set at $10,000. Norris bonded out around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning after going before a judge. He's been ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victim.

Norris is the pastor at The Church, located at 1855 East Main Street, Unit 14, Suite 130 in Spartanburg.
