On Oct. 21, Sparks Middle School in Northern Nevada endured a violent school shooting. The Reno area school experienced what turned into a fatal incident before school started this morning, and by late morning, Pacific time, two were confirmed dead and two were confirmed shot.

In addition, one patient is in critical condition and one is in fair condition as the two are being treated at Renown Hospital in Reno. The child in critical condition did undergo surgery and did survive the surgery.
At this point, frustration reigns by parents of the kids who attend Sparks Middle School as many have reported that they were not notified by the school of the incident for four hours after the act of violence happened. At the time of shooting, a code red was announced to all who were in the school.
Apparently, chaos ensued afterward in a situation in which is said to have been instigated by a student at this school who is said to have been bullied in the recent past. This may or may not be the motive for this tragedy.
Meanwhile, a press conference is planned for 4 p.m., PT. Sparks Middle School is closed for the remainder of the week.
Kids involved in the Sparks Middle School shooting can be picked up by their parents who must hold a photo ID.
