The new documentary "Spark: A Burning Man Story" had its New York premiere at Village East Cinema on Aug. 15, 2013, in New York City, New York. "Spark: A Burning Man Story" was directed by Steve Brown and Jessie Deeter ("Who Killed the Electric Car?").
Gracing the red carpet premiere were director Steve Brown, Psychic Star, Jeremiah Geniuz, Pat Urban, Costume Jim, Shannon Cusak and Gage Cass.
"Spark: A Burning Man Story," takes us behind the curtain with Burning Man organizers and participants, revealing a year of unprecedented challenges and growth of the yearly party known as Burning Man.
"Spark: A Burning Man Story" debuted at the SXSW Film Festival on March 10, 2013. The film will have a limited released on Friday, Aug. 16 and will battle for box office dollars with the action comedy "Kick-Ass 2," Oprah Winfrey's return to film in "Lee Daniels' The Butler," the thriller "Paranoia," the limited release of "Ain't Them Bodies Saints," the limited release of "Austenland" and limited release of "Cutie and the Boxer."
"Spark: A Burning Man Story" is not rated and has a run-time of 1 hour and 52 minutes.
