Former New York Jets offensive coordinator Tony Sparano has found his new job.
He has been hired as the offensive line coach and assistant head coach with the Oakland Raiders. Last season, he spent with the Jets as their offensive coordinator.
He was previously the Miami Dolphins head coach from 2008 through 2011. This will be his first offensive line coach/assistant head coach position since the 2003 through 2007 season when he spent those years in that capacity with the Dallas Cowboys.
He was the Jacksonville Jaguars tight ends coach in 2002 after spending the 2001 season as the Washington Redskins tight end coach. He was the offensive line coach in 2000 with the Cleveland Browns after spending a year as their offensive quality control coach in 1999.
He was the University of New Haven head coach from 1994 through 1998. He was the Boston Universty offensive coordinator from 1989 through 1993.
He was the Boston University offensive line coach in 1998. And he was the University of New Haven offensive line coach from 1984 through 1987.
