Restaurant Week Columbus begins July 23, 2012 and runs until July 28, 2012. It can be difficult for those having to follow the gluten-free diet to participate in events like this due to dietary restrictions. Spagio is making that a little easier by offering gluten-free options to choose from on their menu.
Spagio is a casual fine dining restaurant located in Grandview, Ohio, right outside of downtown Columbus.
Our history is tied to the history of now trendy Grandview Ave, we've evolved together. Through different incarnations we have been at our present location for over 24 years. Our goal is to maintain a comfortable, fun, and creative environment, where people can enjoy sophisticated food and each other.
Chef Hubert Seifert was born in Aachen and began his culinary career at the age of 14 as apprentice in one of Germany's top restaurants. He has cooked in 11 different countries around the world. The Seiferts arrived in America in 1979 and Hubert began working as a private chef. In 1981 he began the Gourmet Market, in the location where Spagio stands today. Chef can be seen each Tuesday at Noon on WSYX 6 news.
The restaurant week menu is a three course meal for $25.00. All three courses have gluten-free options:
First Course: House salad and Mango-peach soup
Main course: Arctic Char and Roasted Cornish Game Hen
Dessert: Hazelnut Roll
