Spaghetti for a good cause--Wonderful Wednesday Meal at Broomfield UMC

On Wednesday, May 5, Broomfield UMC holds their Wonderful Wednesday Meal. This week's offerings are spaghetti and salad provided by Mimi's Cafe. The event is open to the public.

Proceeds for the Wonderful Wednesday Meal will go to Takin' It To The Streets, an organization that serves Denver area homeless through outreach, providing necessities, and helping individuals move into better circumstances.

Various organizations sponsor the Wonderful Wednesday Meal in order to raise funds for their programs. Past organizers have included a local Boy Scout troop, raising money to send a member to the National Jamboree, and Trek to Learn, who used resulting funds to sponsor a trip to Tanzania, where they will work with local residents through learning and service projects.

So drop by Broomfield UMC on May 5 at 5:45 pm to enjoy a great meal for a great cause.
