Brevard Zoo, well-known for their creative family-oriented activities, will host it's annual Boo At The Zoo in October. 2013 marks the 17th year for this popular event. Boo At The Zoo will be held for a total of nine nights this year:
- Friday - Sunday, October 11, 12, 13
- Friday - Sunday, October 18, 19, 20
- Friday & Saturday, October 25, 26, 27
Hours and admission
Friday and Saturday hours will be 5:30 to 9 p.m., with last admission at 8 p.m. The Mystical Haunted Trail will be open from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday hours will be 5:30 to 8 p.m. Last admission on Sunday will be 7 p.m. and the Mystical Haunted Trail will be open from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
The cost of admission, will be as follows:
- Saturday tickets - $12 per person
- Friday and Sunday tickets - $10 per person
- Children under two will be free all nights
Long lines may be avoided by ordering tickets online.
Guests will enjoy live entertainment, nightly costume contests, and the Mystical Boo Choo Train. There will also be a special exhibit, Professor Wormwood's Mystical Garden, put on by Rockledge Gardens. The exhibit will be open during Boo at the Zoo hours and select daytime hours during the month of October. New for 2013 will be the Ball in the Mystical Mansion. For the more mature visitor, there will be the Mystical Haunted Trail (recommended for guests at least 10 years of age).
And, of course, there will be trick-or-treating at more than 30 treat stations sponsored by local businesses and organizations.
Parking & Tickets
Parking will be available at the zoo for all of Boo At The Zoo. Parking spaces fill up fast, due the the popularity of this annual event, so getting there early is suggested. Advance tickets will be sold online only.
