SPAC Welcomes Journey Back!

Mark your calendars, Journey fans, Live Nation and SPAC welcome the legendary band back to close out the summer on September 2, 2011.

Despite going through many phases, Journey still continues to thrill concert goers with their lively melodies and stage presence that shines from their strong group cohesion. Arnel Pinea, who debuted with the band in 2008 is the fresh new face. Pinea, discovered on YouTube, delivers theatrical vocals that are strikingly similar to the one and only, Steve Perry.

College students and adults still living the dream will, no doubt, leave feeling nostalgic after hearing Don’t Stop Believing, sending them back to the first time they belted out those famous lyrics while engaging in some helicopter/hair band dance move after one too many pony-neck beers.

In efforts not to rush the summer away here are a couple more noteworthy bands performing at SPAC during the heat of the season.
