Keep Memory Alive chairman Larry Ruvo is presented with a generous donation from Qua Baths & Spa.
Most people think of a trip to the spa as a self-indulgent experience, but in Las Vegas, it can be a giving experience, too.
On Jan. 12, executive and staff members of Qua Baths & Spa presented founder and chairman of Keep Memory Alive, Larry Ruvo, with a check for $5,258.65. The amount was raised thanks to the spa’s special “Give Back Menu” back in October, which donated five percent of the total proceeds from spa services purchased off of the menu to the locally based charity. In addition to the “Give Back Menu,” $1 from each Roman Rituals and fitness center pass purchased during the month of October was donated to Keep Memory Alive, whose mission is to provide enhanced treatment and ultimately cures for patients and their families suffering from neurocognitive disorders.
Located inside Caesars Palace on the second level of the Augustus Tower, Qua Baths & Spa is one of the city’s most luxurious spas, featuring 51 treatment studios and lavish amenities that include the Roman Baths--three distinct pools varying in both temperature and size--a heated Laconium Room, an Arctic Ice Room with snow falling from above, a Cedarwood sauna, an herbal steam room and more. The spa also has its own in-house tea sommelier who will create and pair beverages, hot or cold, with paid spa treatments in separate men’s and women’s tea lounges. Qua Baths & Spa is open daily from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. For a complete list of available services, click here, and to book your appointment, call 866-782-0655.
