"'Casting' is about the dos and don'ts of how talent should 'act' when it comes to a film or TV casting." - UFTA President Al Quinn

Examiner.com was invited on set and discovered that some 15 or more cast and crew members were involved in the film project.

The film is a short and only needed to shoot over one weekend. The first day of shooting was held at Geri Muck's agency, Protocol Models on the Gulf.

"Geri was so nice to allow us to shoot at her office She is a talent agent and ended up playing one in the film as well. She was great!" - UFTA Treasurer Carrie Belluso

The film's Director of Photography Ernesto Lasso de la Vega, and his assistant Adam, were the main crew. Others wore more than one hat and assisted as well.

This is apparently not the first time for Lasso de la Vega when it comes to working on film projects.

"Now the next step is editing, and the DP will be doing that as well." - Quinn

UFTA is a non-profit organization that is producing the film, and they meet the second Monday usually every month. Their next meeting will be discussing the film shoot. It will be held on Mon., Feb. 10 at Perkins Restaurant.
