(PAC) Premiere Acting Crew officially launches on Friday, August 5, 2011 @ the Southwest Arts Center located at 915 New Hope Road Atlanta, Georgia 30331. The excitement begins at 7- 7:30pm with the Pre-Party White Carpet Affair hosted by Duain Richmond, so wear ALL WHITE. The celebration will continue through 11pm with a “Fundraiser to Celebrate Greatness” hosted by Enoch King featuring special surprise guest! Wonder who it will be?
Premiere Acting Crew (P.A.C.) was founded in 2010 by world-renowned director Freddie Hendricks, who will be the Executive Artistic Director. He is the 2002 Abby Award Recipient of the Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award and was recognized for his uniqueness as a director, performer, writer, and leader. He has gained respect as a notable teacher of the arts. Freddie Hendricks’ work exemplifies creativity, with a voice of clear perspective, during a time in great need of a positive artistic voice. His work explores the deeper issues of the world, embarking on social enlightenment.
I met Freddie Hendricks years ago when he came to Knoxville as a part of the Freddie Hendrick’s Youth Ensemble, which led to me writing a grant for the Knoxville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority to bring the phenominal performance called “Soweto Soweto, A Township is Calling.” Simply awesome! Hendricks remains one of the most innovative and inspiring artists. He has been a leader in the arts for decades, and will continue to create world-changing art to help heal the world through the Premiere Acting Crew.
Other PAC staff members include André C. Allen - Managing Director who is the founded theatrical lighting design firm for Blacklight Productions Inc., in 1990. In 1993, The Blacklight evolved into a full-scale production services company, providing logistics management as well as technical support. Now in its 20th year of operation, Blacklight expands services to the Television & Film industries. Today, with an impressive technical and logistic support background for theater, concerts and tours, Blacklight joins the P.A.C. as the official creative vision firm. Under the direction of André C. Allen (Founding Managing Director; P.A.C.) the Blacklight will combine the latest in theater technologies with the premier performers of P.A.C.

July 13-22 will be the last times available for those 1 on 1 classes for the summer. After July 22nd, Mr. Hendricks will be busy with the production of "The Green Book" as well as preparing for the upcoming launch of P.A.C. and the P.A.C. season.
