"Southland" will air season five on Channel 26 in Tempe. On Saturday, Jan. 5, Spoiler TV shared new photos from the set of the series. TV Line also shared new information about the series. When this series returns, there will be drama on all fronts for the police offers. That means they will get both on the job and off. TV Line shared new details for the series. The site revealed the following:
"When Sammy's not worrying about his partner's sketchy new friends, he'll be stuck in a hellish custody battle with his ex Tammi. Meanwhile, Cooper and his new boot, army vet Gary Steele (guest star Derek Ray), don't exactly mesh, leading to a pivotal confrontation during a traffic stop-gone-sideways. As for the preggers Lydia, returning to detective work while being a mother proves to be harder than expected."
Chad Michael Murray is playing Sammy's new partner on this series. He will take the spot that Lucy Liu had last season. Her character was promoted, and the actress is now appearing on "Elementary" on CBS.
