Once an NBC series that aired for only one season, but had announced and canceled a second season returns to the network that saved it from oblivion, TNT for its fifth season.
The series follows the lives of LAPD officers and detectives delivering a raw, authentic look into their lives. Besides the realistic nature of the crimes involved the show takes a cool approach starting each episode out with the end of the story, then jumping back to the beginning to see how it got there to deliver a unique and fresh approach to the genre. TNT gave the show the more edge to make it an even better show than it already was. This is easily one of the best police dramas on TV.
The series stars Ben McKenzie, Michael Cudlitz, Shawn Hatosy, Regina King, and C. Thomas Howell.
