Southern Star Brewing Company, our brewery neighbor to the north, is ready to celebrate its fifth year of beer- making in Conroe, Texas with an anniversary party. This has turned into a regular occasion at Southern Star Brewing and this year’s celebration has all the beer, food, and entertainment to make it the best yet. Here is some background information:

Why: To celebrate another year of great beer in Conroe
Southern Star Brewing has been going strong now for five years and it is prepared to celebrate the way a successful brewery should. Guests will be treated to plenty of great Southern Star beer, accommodating food from the Outlaw Kookers, and great tunes supplied by the country- folk music band Folk Family Revival.
Tickets for the event cost $30 per person ($10 for designated drivers) and include the following:
- Libby 18.5 oz. commemorative mug
- 5 beer tickets (except for designated drivers, of course)
- Two Raffle entries (good for a gift basket or private tour of the brewery)
There is no food included with the regular admission entry ticket (designated driver tickets, however, will include a brat or hot dog, chips, and water/soda), but there will be food on hand for purchase. The Outlaw Kookers, a familiar food service at Southern Star Brewing, will be present and will be serving such food options as:
- Pretzels
- Beer Boiled Brats
- Hot dogs
- Hamburgers
- Outlaw Burgers
- Outlaw Pulled Pork
- Water, sodas, and chips
Guests should keep in mind that the food is sold on a cash basis ONLY. Don’t arrive with no cash and nothing but credit and debit cards- you will not be able to buy any food without cash money.
Tickets can be purchased through the Southern Star Brewing web site (Click HERE to read about the event and buy tickets) and are in limited supply. No actual ticket will be produced, but Southern Star Brewing recommends bringing along a printout of the receipt that you receive via e-mail, once you buy tickets. This will make the check- in process faster. If you lose your receipt, don’t worry- Southern Star Brewing has a record of the paid guests and will check you in as usual.
