Southern Maryland Comic-Con coming July 7, 2012

The summer begins this Wednesday June 20th. So along with summer comes blockbuster movies like The Avengers which is already a smashing success and The Amazing Spider-Man which is about to be released on July 3rd. So with these movies and summer vacations you might have forgotten about a little known comic con here in Maryland: The Southern Maryland Comic-Con. This comic con is sponsored by Third Eye Comics. They wanted to bring more comic book shows to southern Maryland and they are doing it with this comic con. So mark your calendars and get ready for a fun small comic con!

This comic con is trying to bring what every comic book fan wants, COMICS. They will have some pretty decent guest for such a small show. Two of the main guest at the show will be Steve Conley and Maryland’s own Greg LaRocque. Along with these two artists will be many more artists from professionals to local artist trying to make a name for themselves. So get ready to head on down to Waldorf for this comic con to get some awesome sketches and commissions by some of these great artists.

So when does this show take place you might be wondering. Well I’m here to tell you. The Southern Maryland Comic-Con will take place July 7, 2012 in Waldorf, MD from 10-5.
