Southern lights at the horse park

Are you looking for something fun to do with the family this holiday season?  If you live in Lexington, KY or surrounding areas you wouldn't want to miss the Southern Lights show at the horse park.  Every year the Kentucky Horse Park's Southern Lights, a fundraiser event, draws crowds by car, bus, and more for it's outstanding driving tour.

The Southern Lights tour is an exceptional experience that your whole family will enjoy.  Bring your kids,mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and last but not least bring your camera.  The lights at the park will amaze you.  From flying reindeer to rows of lighted trees there is something for everyone.

This family oriented event offers not only a spectacular driving tour, but also a petting zoo, crafts, and best of all Santa.  According to Kristin Ingwell Goode, a writer for Southsider Magazine, about 3,000 man hours from 15 different individuals goes into the physical setup of displays.

So please folks don't miss the Southern Lights this season at the Kentucky Horse Park located just off of I-75 in Lexington, KY.  You can view the show from 5:30 to 10 p.m. nightly through December 31st.
