The musical "Southern Crossroads" is playing live on stage at Derby Dinner Playhouse now through September 29, 2013. Derby Dinner Playhouse is located in Clarksville, Indiana and is a nice drive down I-65 from Indianapolis. If you wish to spend the night Holiday Inn Lakeview is located next door. And there are lots of things to do in the area. Though only about an hour and a half drive from downtown Indy there would be no need to stay overnight unless you just want to.
"Southern Crossroads" is an entertaining and funny new musical about a traveling family of singers and musicians trying to make a living during the 1930’s off their musical talents. The gifted family treats the audience to an old-fashioned, high-spirited Southern jamboree featuring over 20 classic songs such as “Keep on the Sunnyside”, “I’ll Fly Away”, and “Midnight Special”.
At the Derby Dinner Playhouse you can expect a lavish buffet featuring Classic American Cuisine. Selections include a full salad bar, a variety of vegetables, fish, beef or turkey, hot rolls, and beverage. Take your time as the “Footnotes”, Derby Playhouse's own talented vocal ensemble will entertain you just prior to the stage production.
A full bar and luscious desserts are a specialty of the house. For more information and to make reservations visit Derby Dinner Playhouse.
