Southern Colorado Sustainability Conference in Colorado Springs, November 3-4

The Colorado Springs Business Journal has teamed up with Pikes Peak Sustainable Business Network, Colorado Springs Utilities, Catamount Institute, CH2M Hill, and the Governor's Energy Office to bring this years 2009 Sustainability Conference to Colorado Springs. Over 800 people are expected to be in attendance including government officials, sustainable businesses and leaders, green builders, and world renowned speakers.

The event will be held at the Double Tree Hotel and will run November 3 & 4.  The event will be the first ever "green" event for the hotel in Colorado Springs and will feature a green team, no disposable products, and organic food.  In addition, local farmers of organic foods will be showcased and the evening reception will highlight a local brewery.

The conference will include workshops, sessions on renewable energy, green building techniques, green building 101 and much more.  The event costs $85 and includes access to all workshops, evening reception, and lunch.  Click here to register.
