Bravo has a new reality show called “Southern Charm” which follows the lives of six Charleston, S.C. “aristocrats.” In a promo for the show, Bravo describes “Southern Charm” as an anti-redneck, drama-filled, docu-series.
Bravo gave viewers a 30 minute preview of “Southern Charm” on Feb. 13 to introduce the six members of Charleston society who will star on the show. Craig Conover, Cameran Eubanks, Jenna King, Thomas Ravenel, Shepard “Shep” Rose and Whitney Sudler-Smith round out the cast. “Southern Charm will follow the six singles as they struggle to deal with the constraints and expectations of the tight-knit, posh Charleston society in which they live.
In its description of “Southern Charm” Bravo proclaims that some of the cast are descendants of “Vice Presidents and four-term Senators.” The docu-series will follow these six single Charlestonians as they launch political careers, build businesses, break hearts and chase true love while “struggling to preserve their family names.” It appears that in Charleston one social faux pas can taint the family name for generations.
