Bravo fans are really enjoying the new show "Southern Charm." They want to know more about Thomas Ravenel. It was revealed early on that he went to prison but the show has left fans with some questions. On March 19, Thomas retweeted something on Twitter that showed how he feels about his drug charges.

One of his fans tweeted, "@Thomasravenel @bookoojohn No one looks at degrees of felony.Murder, violating restraining order & drugs:all felonies but so different." He even went on to say that "being branded a felon is a life sentence." Thomas does have a felony on his record, but he didn't kill anyone. So what did he do?

According to Bustle, he went to jail for very serious drug charges. He hasn't really cleaned up his image since then. Thomas was the South Carolina Treasurer but ended up deciding to resign after he was indicted. He was charged with having cocaine with intent to distribute but not sell. It sounds like he had planned to hand it out to friends at a party, but not use it for profit. He has been arrested once since he got out of prison and it was for drunk driving.

Don't miss new episodes of "Southern Charm" on Monday nights on Bravo.
