One of the best things about Fairhope is its walkable layout. Stroll along the sidewalks for a day of boutique and antique shopping at stores like Crocker Antiques and Garden, Cat’s Meow, and Church Mouse. Be sure to stop for lunch at Andree’s for some cold strawberry soup. Delicious. Stock up on a few desserts and a bottle of wine to take back to your hotel room, or just come back to Andree’s for a casual snack.

There’s plenty to do every season in Fairhope but a couple of upcoming events include the 12th Annual Historic Homes Tour on May 2nd and the Downtown Fairhope Walking Tours on Saturdays at 10:00 AM in June.

Get a look at all the art Fairhope has to offer with First Friday Art Walk each month from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Fairhope is a beautiful, charming, small southern town that makes for a perfect weekend getaway.
