Will there be a season 2 of “Southern Charm” ahead on Bravo? Fans are hoping that will be the case, and some think that there are signs indicating that more episodes may well happen. The site Bravo Ratings took a look at the details on Tuesday, though the network itself has yet to announce anything official.

The debut season of “Southern Charm” generated quite a bit of buzz and the ratings improved over the course of the full season. There had been indications that a season 2 pick-up could depend on how the ratings were for the season 1 finale. If that is the case, that is good news for fans.

As TV by the Numbers notes, the Bravo show pulled in its highest-ever ratings with Monday night's finale. “Southern Charm” had 1.2 million total viewers Monday, up a nice amount from the prior week's episode. Fans knew that they had at least one more follow-up episode to embrace, which was slated to air Monday, April 28. It had been said that that was a show titled “Secrets Revealed,” but it looks like Bravo may have shifted their plans a bit.

It now appears that there will be a standard reunion special airing Monday, April 28 and the “Secrets Revealed” special is pushed out to Monday, May 5. That gives the network an extra week of juicy fun for viewers and ratings, and it certainly looks good in terms of the discussion regarding a renewal. If Bravo does tap a season 2 of “Southern Charm,” at this point there is no telling when it would be back or exactly which cast members may return.

Fans were floored with the news that Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel just had a baby girl together, and viewers can only imagine what other goodies will come out over the next two follow-up episodes. Tune in to “Southern Charm” over the next two Monday nights to see what great stuff Bravo dishes out. Stay tuned for news on “Southern Charm” season 2.
