South Side chefs face-off for bragging rights to South Side’s “Best Soup” at the 9th Annual South Side Soup Contest on February 16, 2013 from 11:00am-3:00pm. This annual city-favorite brings the community together to crawl among the south side streets sampling soup and voting for their favorite spoonfuls to win among several categories. Proceeds from the South Side Soup Contest benefit The Brashear Association's Food Pantry and the South Side Chamber of Commerce.
The crawl has sold out for several consecutive years, so interested participants should mark their calendars. Tickets for the event go on sale February 1, 2013. For more event details, follow their Facebook page.
