Following multiple delays and even a change in publishers, Obsidian Entertainment's South Park: The Stick of Truth was given a release date by Ubisoft on Wednesday for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC along with a collector's edition that is right up Cartman's alley.

South Park: The Stick of Truth will skip the hot holiday shopping month of November and will be released on Dec. 10 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America and Dec. 12 in Europe. A "Grand Wizard Edition" will be released the same day for $79.99 and come with a Grand Wizard Cartman six-inch figure made by KidRobot, a Kingdom of South Park Map and "The Stick of Truth Ultimate Fellowship Pack."

The Ultimate Fellowship Pack will also be available to those that pre-order the game and comes with four exclusive costumes that are equipped with special abilities. Suit up as the Necromancer Sorcerer to increase your fire damage, earn extra gold by equipping the Rogue Assassin outfit, deal extra weapon damage with the Ranger Elf costume, or raise your defense with the Holy Defender outfit.

A new "Destiny" trailer was also released for The Stick of Truth that implores the new kid, who gamers will play in the title, to step forward and fulfill his destiny.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is a role-playing game in the same vein as the Paper Mario titles from Nintendo only with a definite South Park twist. Show creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone helped Obsidian Entertainment craft a world where players take on the role of the new kid in town caught in the middle of a Live-Action Role-Play (LARP) adventure with Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny fighting over the Stick of Truth. Pick one of five classes - Fighter, Mage, Thief, Cleric and Jew - to battle hippies, girls, goth kids, underpants gnomes and more to discover the lost relic.
