South Florida may see more jobs in 2014

The South Florida region will likely see more jobs and higher salaries in 2014.

Speaking to an audience at the economic forecast breakfast at the Executives Association of Fort Lauderdale, Richard Golod, an investment strategist said the local and national economy will improve. This will mean more jobs in areas such as construction, tourism and life sciences, according to an article by Doreen Hemlock in the February 19 Sun Sentinel that discussed his presentation.

"I hope these projects are right. I want to see more people making money because that means they will spend more money in my restaurant," said Susan Campos.

"We need more jobs and better paying ones here. I am glad the economy is improving," said Bryan Rask.
