South Florida athletes sign Letters of Intent

Today is National Signing Day for graduating High school seniors when they finally make written commitments to colleges and universities who have been recruiting them throughout the past season.

Here is a breakdown of some of the athletes in South Florida and Miami-Dade County:

  • Matthew Thomas, OLB, Miami Booker T. Washington H.S. has committed to Florida State
  • Denver Kirkland, OL, Miami Booker T. Washington H.S. has committed to the University of Arkansas
  • Joey Bosa, DT, Ft. Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas H.S. has committed to Ohio State University
  • Artie Burns, CB, Miami Northwestern H.S. has committed to the University of Miami
  • Jamal Carter, S, Miami Southridge H.S. has committed to the University of Miami
  • Greg Bryant, RB, Delray Beach American Heritage School has committed to the University of Notre Dame
  • Paul James III, DE, Miami Norland has committed to the University of Illinois
  • Alex Collins, RB, South Plantation H.S. has committed to the University of Arkansas

Jermaine Grace, OLB, Miramar; Adrian Baker, ATH, Hollywood-Chaminade Prep; Keith Bryant, DT, Delray Beach Atlantic have yet to make an announcement but a follow-up on their signings will come later today.
